Webber admits Schumacher "pushed boundaries" during Italian Formula One Grand Prix

Brussels, Sept 16 : Formula One driver Mark Webber has claimed that Michael Schumacher was "pushing the boundaries" with his driving style while taking on Leiws Hamilton at the Italian Formula One Grand Prix.
Comparing the incidents between Hamilton and Schumacher, as well as another between Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, Webber said: "It was a unique fight between Michael and Lewis because the McLaren was running up against the rev limiter, so Michael had a speed advantage on the straights.”
"He could position his car very cutely to try to keep him out. There were a few times when Michael returned to the normal line having defended. That''s the point of interest because it''s not what most drivers understand to be acceptable. One incident in particular stood out - out of the second chicane and into Lesmo, when Lewis had a clear run and Michael went across to defend and then came back again. Moving that many times was pushing the boundaries," Fox New quoted him, as saying.
The Mercedes driver appeared to make moves to block Hamilton, and was criticized for his actions by many, including Jenson Button and Martin Brundle.

Indian F1 Grand Prix fears eased, Jaypee ready to pay tax bill: Report

London, Sep 15: Fears that next month's inaugural Indian Formula One Grand Prix at Greater Noida's Buddh International Circuit could be scrapped due to tax issues have reportedly been eased by the race's organizers, the Jaypee Sports International (JPSI). Speculation that India's tax authorities were unwilling to grant F1 teams a tax exemption on their equipment, on the basis they do not consider the October 30 race to be of national importance, had thrown the race into uncertainty.
However, the JPSI have now said that they are ready to step in and pick up any tax costs the teams incur, Sky Sports reports.
"JPSI has full support from the government, the sports ministry and the customs department for the F1 event scheduled for October this year. We have an in-principle approval from the customs department for creating a customs bonded area for F1 equipment that will be temporarily imported to India," JPSI chief executive Sameer Gaur said in a statement.
"If required, as per the law of the land, JPSI will pay customs duties and taxes etc for the temporary import of equipment. The estimated value of this equipment is about 150 crore rupees and the final duty payable on this will be approximately eight crore rupees," he added.

Button hails his McLaren dream team

London, Sep. 13 : Formula One 2009 champion Jenson Button believes he is winning the battle for hearts and minds at McLaren with team mate Lewis Hamilton.
Button made it three podiums in a row with second place to F1 championship leader Sebastian Vettel in Italy on Sunday.
The Frome flier, 31, said: "I''m driving better than ever and I''m really working well with the people within the team.
The Sun further quoted him, as saying: "I took my engineers and mechanics out for dinner on Saturday night. It is not for a competitive edge over Lewis'' side of the garage, it was to pay them back for all their hard work."
Button, nine points ahead of Hamilton, added: "It''s fun racing with Lewis as we push each other."
